Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB): Communication system that allows parties to view pipeline information through personal computers and phone lines. An online connection allows information to be viewed on a screen to the user, and allows the user to react by entering data, requesting new data, and/or requesting files to be transferred. Order 636 mandated that pipelines institute user-friendly EBBs to provide shippers with timely information about available capacity.

Evergreen Clause: Provision in a contract that allows an automatic extension beyond that primary term, unless either party elects to terminate the contract by giving notice prior to the anniversary date.
